ABOUT US
The Egner Family

Keith & Trish Egner grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, where they met and wed 20 years ago. Keith is the Minister to Family & Children at Canton First Baptist, and Trish is a cupcake designer and homemaker. They have three boys: Caleb (17), Kyle (16), and Christian, whom passed away in 2015 at the age of 5.

Christian was a loving and sweet child. Everyone who remembers him remembers his happiness and his smiles. He loved to sing and dance, and he would always bring smiles to the faces of those around him. Christian's favorite color was green, and he loved Jesus and Peppa Pig. To some, he was a quiet child, but to all, he was the essence of pure joy.

Keith and Trish wanted to do something to honor the memory of Christian while make a difference in the lives of others. Strong in their faith of Christ, they have a heart for ministering to people and longed to do something that would give back to the community. This began the process of The Christian Egner Foundation.

The Christian Egner Foundation

The Christian Egner Foundation was founded in 2016 to provide an avenue of giving back to the community. Its main purpose is to raise money that can be donated to various causes, mainly those that impacted the life and family of Christian Egner. Its biggest event is The Smile Run. This event was appropriately named after the smile that always encompassed Christian. Whether on his face or on the faces of those who were around him, these smiles will never be forgotten.

The primary beneficiary of The Smile Run is the Ralph Bunche Preschool in Cherokee County. This is an amazing preschool that specializes in special needs, offering services such as teachers, therapists and nurses. One of four Cherokee County School Preschools, they host Head Start, Georgia Pre-K and special needs preschool classes for Cherokee County residents.
