ABOUT US

The Egner Family

Keith and Trish Egner live in Georgia, where they share a passion for faith, family, and serving others. Keith is the Pastor of Discipleship at Canton First Baptist, and Trish teaches preschool at Mission Point Preschool.

They are parents to Caleb (22), Kyle (21), Levi (8), and Christian, who passed away in 2015 at age 5. Christian’s joyful spirit, love for Jesus, and bright smile continue to inspire all who knew him.

In his memory, Keith and Trish founded The Christian Egner Foundation to bring hope and joy to others. The foundation has raised over $50,000 for special needs organizations in Cherokee County and supports Ralph Bunche Preschool, where Christian once attended.

Their mission: to make a difference—one smile at a time.

The Christian Egner Foundation

The Christian Egner Foundation was founded in 2016 to provide an avenue of giving back to the community. Its main purpose is to raise money that can be donated to various causes, mainly those that impacted the life and family of Christian Egner. Its biggest event is The Smile Run. This event was appropriately named after the smile that always encompassed Christian. Whether on his face or on the faces of those who were around him, these smiles will never be forgotten.

The primary beneficiary of The Smile Run is the Ralph Bunche Preschool in Cherokee County. This is an amazing preschool that specializes in special needs, offering services such as teachers, therapists and nurses. One of four Cherokee County School Preschools, they host Head Start, Georgia Pre-K and special needs preschool classes for Cherokee County residents.
